We are pleased to announce Atlas Leisure Homes Ltd has achieved the internationally recognised Made in Britain accreditation for its range of holiday homes and lodges, which are designed, and manufactured at its two sites in East Yorkshire.
Made in Britain brings together the British manufacturing community, united using the registered collective mark of quality. Providing the ultimate mark of British provenance, the Made in Britain accreditation is seen as an international seal of excellence domestically, in Europe and across the world.
To qualify for the mark, manufacturers must pass a stringent checklist to guarantee that the manufacturing supply chain is ‘truly British’. Only those products that pass this test are permitted to carry the converted mark.
Commenting on the Made in Britain accreditation, Managing Director, Steven McGawn said “Atlas Leisure Homes are proud to join the Made in Britain membership programme and represent what we believe should be the benchmark for quality in the leisure home industry in Britain, using British materials and creating job and training opportunities in our local community.”
Made in Britain also offers its members inclusion into their Green Growth Programme. The Green Growth Assessment and Programme are designed to help every manufacturer become more sustainable, by understanding their progress and then taking concrete steps to improve.
Atlas is at the start of its Sustainability journey, we are excited to get started with the help of Made in Britain Green Growth Programme and share our progress along the way!
